This is a 2 hour training designed to educate and prepare mental health professionals for work with children and adults experiencing trauma and grief.The training will include: (1) Understanding the impact of trauma and grief as it relates to the stages of human development; (2) Recognizing indicators of trauma and traumatic grief in children and adults; (3) Understanding the physiological and neurobiological manifestations of trauma; (4) Strategies for age appropriate intervention.
